nice site. You know, this probably won't go through (I'm trying anyway ) but here's a deal: on their site they had a Vestax VMC-004XL mixer priced at $0.00. I just ordered it and my total is $18 with shipping

you know you could sue them for that. they put the price at 0.00 on their site, so you bought one, and therefore by law they have to give you one. I've heard about things like this happening with cars, and people get a 20K car for 5k. It's funny how these little loopholes are abound.

^^exactly. If I had clicked to Buy it and then the price popped up as whatever it would be as I'm checking out (in this case they go for $299 on average), then it's just an error on the front end and I don't go through with it.

This is an error on the BACK END...I went through and completely checked out and the price still read $0.00; it's even on my receipt.

I'm not totally willing to go through and argue on it if they call up or something; however, I do read and have seen deals posted from time to time like this on Fatwallet (a gross mispricing error)...the kicker with that is since the orders come flooding in quickly not all (or sometimes none) of the orders end up going through; the vendor itself will just cancel it.

But either way I've got nothing to lose and a mixer to gain

Before this thread gets any worse. Just buy the headphones you like the best. Do your research and then go splurge.

it never hurts to ask, but definitely a lot of it comes down to how well they feel and sound on you...just look at the following ones and decide, as they are all considered "tops" by many:

Sony 700's/900's
Pioneer 1000's
Technics 1200's
Sennheiser's

All those should be had for no more then ~$150 if you shop good enough...
