i have stubble like bridge cables and i get by with disposables. 1 blade, sometimes 2 and a bar of soap. water if i'm lucky.

this stuff is out of control.

Not everyone can be as lucky as you mate, some people really do have pretty sensitive skin on their faces and need some of this stuff (within reason).

It doesn't make you a pussy for using something which limits the amount of razor burn you might get.

I'm sticking to the Mach 3 Turbo, works well and gives me a smooth shave. I use some gel thing I stock up whenever I visit Australia Syntax: I think you can get Wilkinson disposables in Australia.

Nah mate, I'm Singaporean and Australian resident, so I go back at least once a year for a visit, and looking to move back next year, debating between Syd or Melb (more familiar with Melb and friends are there).

got my mach3 stolen in Ghana and bought back a blue one which still works perfectly. And a blade lasts me a week or 2 minimum. Definitely going to give the shaving oil a try tho, all this fuss with the cream everytime...oh, and in Ghana it's actually cheaper to buy a ew mach3 than getting yourself 2 new blades

I used to use electric razors for years. I absoltely hate them now. Throughout the years I've been through about 6 or 7 different Braun models. From the cheapest ones to their most expensive ones.

They're not good for your skin at all, especially if you try and give yourself a close shave. If I use it these days the regrowth doesn't seem to suit a normal razor very well so you screw yourself up for the next shave.

Kinky if you don't really have a problem with shaving as it is seriously don't waste your money with an electric. They can still give razor burn when you want to get a close shave.

Also, what's this Wilkinson brand? Don't think they have them here in Aus.

I use a Mach3 Turbo with shaving oil. Sooo much better than shaving cream. You use about 4 drops of oil to lubricate your entire face and it'll give you the smoothest shave ever. A tiny bottle which costs about double what shaving cream costs will last you well over a year. I use the American Crew shave oil and I love it to bits.
