i was thinking about stuff like:

Sphere & Accorsi - Set The Mood
Sphere & Accors - Take It Hard
Digby & Oliver - 7 Stones (Main Mix)
Sub Project - Space (Original Mix)
2 Boys 1 Girl - U Know Nothing (Xzique Remix)

to me, the above is filthy house music. am i wrong?
my bad if this topic was discussed before in another thread.

also, if anyone knows of other tracks that are like this?

i call the subtle shit that makes you eyes open dirty. the slow developing, type of tunage that gets deeper without blowing up stuff. diggers late night, hector romero, etc. its that feeling when something little changes, but changes the whole scope of whats going on. or when you have a nasty bassline drop in over some minimal drum patterns.

Chris lake is another good example. His track Shake is like bag of assess covered in puke, dragged behind a boat in the hudson bay, filthy. And thats a hell of a compliment.

filthy house is a highly specialized, discernable sound that's really coming out into the open these days. It's different from dub-step booty house, and it's also not like the deep techy nu rave sound. It has a bit of that fuzzy break-core electro feel, but not so much that you can't also clearly hear the nu-core garage fused with minimal ghetto-funk techno in it as well.

You just know it when you hear it.
