try www.kvraudio.com and do a plug-in database search for reverb vst's. You'll find something that probably works really well, and is free.

YEs indeed. Most non cubase users just never took the time to figure it out. I still use ableton for vocal manipulation though.

And someone asked about fm8. It fckin rocks. I use it alot. WAAAYYY better than fm7

I disagree ... I've been using Cubase longest and the routing is still pretty poor in comparison to Logic.

Plus Logic has EXS24!

and rather spend money on some nice monitors!
Cubase is nice, only real sidechain is missing, i mean there are couple of kind a, but Pro Tools is still grandfather in sound quality!

they all have the same quality. it all boils down to what your preferences are, and general liking og the product. I happen to really love Ableton, it's very easy to use and can do everything any other program can do.

dude, my ableton can do 24 bit 196Khz recording and playback. And that's way more than you really need.

I would assume that each DAW would dither your track differently, producing a slighlty different sound.

well considering we all hear sound a bit differently. That really ends up being only of question to the one producing and composing the music. Like everything else...it's just a matter of personal taste.

personally i find ableton fiddly to write with but i would import samples in there for the effects

it's not hard to learn, it just seems that way because, it's not like reason, where everything is prepared to work.u just need some knowledge about midi, that's all.
