I like this set very much, but! i have to say that listening to this and the recent digweed france festival set - sasha is obviously the weakest link.

I like this set very much, but! i have to say that listening to this and the recent digweed france festival set - sasha is obviously the weakest link.

I disagree, you only have to look at the tracklist... I think there's about 90% ID coverage on every track Digweed played that night (the same tracks he's been playing since Miami).

Sasha is still the one pushing the envelope musically.

For what it's worth I think the Mansion set is much better.

I believe he means that sasha is the one taking risks, checking out new tunes etc., whereas diggers goes with the tried and tested path.

Saw sasha in athens last friday, i recognise alot of the songs! It was a rocking nite

Sure. here goes....

You will see from the t/l below I have put who I believe played what that night. I think it's a pretty fair assumption based on other recent sets and ID's from other recent nights.

Look at the missing ID's and who's playing them? I know there's a lot more Digweed sets doing the round than Sasha. The majority of the missing ID's belong to Sasha who as I said musically is pushing the envelope and introducing new music at every opportunity. However, Digweed has been playing the same tracks for the last few months in all his sets.

No gripes I just think Digweed is as stale as two week old bread at the moment and that Sasha is the innovator.

I agree with you on the most part...but track 18..I pretty sure Sasha played it..no Digweed..cuz you can hear his signature Abelton effects on the track when it's played..also he dropped this track on his Mexico tour before WMC back in March..according to Youtube vids. Sasha is a big player of this track even though Digweed loves most of Guy Gerbers productions.

Also, that Markus Lange track..I think that's Sasha..I think he played it at this private gig at Cielo and he's a huge fan of Markus Lange productions. And Tigerstyle...that's Digweed for sure...he's been whoring Eric Prydz productions for months..everything from Ironman, Armed, and his Underground Edit since WMC.

Sasha is the one pushing the envelope..you know when Digweed is playing cuz he has this signature sound..also his tracks are a bit of a bore. Just check out tracks 7, 22, 26 & 27..all Sasha....and they are amazing. Thought the only thing negative I'll have to say...his been playing track 10 since last December...getting old but still nice in a way.

i can say that myspace song is played by sasha..

because when you listen it you can hear ping pong delay effects (ableton) on the song...

but imo digweed is the best...

Track 26 is "Umek - Ricochet Effect"..check out samples on beatport...I'm pretty sure thats track 26..no Speechless.
