Re: Ricardo Villalobos - Fabric 36

villalobos' sets for clubnight xxl in 01 and 03 = music lesson 101 imo. fantastic.

sinner in me, what beanz said, hard to do anything with that original.

Re: Ricardo Villalobos - Fabric 36

Sound-wise, the mix is going to be more housey than head-y. I'm more known for head-y, trippy music, so of course it is still very trippy and monotone, in the monotone way of delivering always the same tone and doing something to your brain. But it will be more dancey and housey and summery.

trippy summer monotone house music. Gotcha.

i guess it's head type house. k-hole type stuff that is great for people on drugs. Which is probably how RV produces his music.

listening to this now... this elicits such strong reactions in me that I had to bring back this old post.

parts of this are are really great. and parts of this are just complete fucking horseshit (min. 39-47: wtf is that?? who in their right mind would want to listen to this?). this extreme dichotomy can only be explained by heavy drug use.
