have seen pappa a few times he always impresses. only saw burridge once, that was on the Space miami terrace at 8am. anyone who knows what i was doing leading up to that might understand my inability to describe it thoroughly.

proper way to see Burridge, imo.

i've never seen Pappa (yet i have a strong appreciation for him - Balance 006 is one of my favorite CDs ever), and it's been 2 years since i've seen Burridge. i have a hard time getting into Burridge's style (i like the deeper/funkier side of house) but he's a pretty entertaining DJ to watch. i've never seen someone dance so hard and make so many funny faces behind the decks.

Pretty cool opening by Mr Burridge, and quite a personality this guy has. When Pappa played he came down to party with the crowd, cool fella.

My first time catching Lee Burridge last Friday and was I impressed. He layered a techy sound over a elegant bass groove. Forced your body to move sidways like a hoolahoop. Would see him again in a second. And I have not been impressed with his recorded sets at all. They sound to me like just boring beats. Go Lee!

Lee was opening for Sander who seems to have taken the harder sound approach. Better than last time I caught him by far but not close to his Everybody v.1 sound which I love. Sander may have found his groove again.

Pappa has been getting lots of good reviews for his Moments show on Proton. I've heard a couple, and while the mixing and programming is near perfect, I agree with some of the comments already posted - there is just something missing in the sets. I lose patience waiting for the set to progress.....

I just think that he does substitute impeccable mixing and programming for sometimes average tracks. As somebody said above, it would be great if he could combine his mixing ability with Warren's track selection
