yeah dude that was big news around the bay area for a few days.
i first read about it in the TBT (tampa bay times - a daily magazine/paper)
it was a sad story, the poor girl was only 19.
life truly is fragile, and even if you spend half your life in a gym or eating healthy you just never know when your time is up.

Thank you all again for your kind words and similar stories.
Saturday was definitely hard, but at the same time it set everyone at piece.
As they closed the casket they played Josh Groban "You Raise Me UP" and I don't think I will be able to listen to that song again the same...very moving. His wife gave a beautiful, heart wrenching eulogy..I would be surprised if there was someone not crying. Then his best friend got up and told stories that we could all relate to, and that is pretty much how the rest of the day went. Everyone sharing stories of how wonderful Todd was.
During the burial the minister stated that he was now in heaven and brought over a bag to his oldest daughter and asked her if she would like to give her dad his first gift in heaven. She opened the bag and a single white balloon floated up out of it and up into the sky. It was really touching. She stood and watched it until she couldn't see it anymore. Later at the reception (or whatever you would call it) she was beaming telling people that she got to give her daddy his first present...really sweet.
