that's cool. my mbp is pretty thin, i'm not sure how much thinner laptops need to be. at some point, you lose some durability with decreased size.

so...wait..there's no cd drive? only a 4200rpm HD? and you can't replace the battery? no ethernet (which really isn't that big of a deal, i've never once plugged an ethernet cable into my laptop) no firewire?

for one thing, latency with final scratch is going to be a motherfucker with a 4200rpm drive.

I will say this -- I find that having a disk drive or an ethernet connection less and less necessary. With most people having broadband speed, uploading and downloading stuff is a reasonably good alternative to burning and handing someone a disk. It's actually pretty rare that I use my drive -- and the ethernet connection, only at hotels that don't have wireless.

^^ i agree actually... only time i use a cd drive is to either play a game, install software, or burn a dvd.

pertaining to this laptop, i dont understand no fire wire and only 1 usb port... i mean if your using a wireless mouse, you cant use any other peripherals... i just do not get it
