Social Seutity for illegal aliens!!!

huh, yep thats right, social security for illegal aliens...I may be misinformed about this ordeal, but i have read somewhere that congress is trying to pass a bill allowing all illegal aliens full benefits of our country's social security fund, even if thay have never contributed in their entire lives.. i have a few questions reguarding this matter, if anybody can help with insight on this issue please do so... thanks j

questions:
1) what happens to all those people that have contributed their entire lives when the funds run out because our idiotic government has decided to give it all away?

2) isn't our nation's social security fund depleted due to welfare, funding for war, and other deficits?

3) was or was not social security designed for the citizens inorder to help the citizens
that actually contributed in time of retirement?

I haven't heard about this, and the way it's presented -- "social security for illegal aliens" -- makes it sound like that's some opponent of the bill's "interpretation" of it. If a bill actually did what you're suggesting, I suspect that every person in this country would roundly reject it, which is probably why it's referred to in this fashion.

Can you send a reference to the actual bill? Hard to make heads or tails of it without that.

lol, this will never happen.

if your rumor is true, then it is probably just another thing started to gain vote support in the upcoming presidential elections.

i agree with toasty, it would be roundly rejected... also it would just speed up the depletion of the SS fund, so why would they even accept this anyway..

either way, social security is fucked and is only intended to help out the lower/mid-level income earners anyway... if you can, 401(k) it up, only way you are going to retire safely is if you help out yourself.

dont trust the government with anything... you just cant.
