Watching the first Global Underground DVD, you hear James Todd saying that the British are typically lazy with names, which is why they all call it Ibitha instead of Ibiza.

That's quite false right there. If you go back in history you will remember one of the Kings of Spain had a speech impediment and the people thought this was a new form of speaking so they adapted to it. Now we have a massive amount of Spanish who speak with said "lisp" because that accent has been handed down for generations. Look it up. It's damn funny.

Well I have know that the English have a loose way with language. Watching the first Global Underground DVD, you hear James Todd saying that the British are typically lazy with names, which is why they all call it Ibitha instead of Ibiza.

its pronouced differently all over the world, not just by the lazy english
