yeah what pisses me off is the lame fans we have....currently we have the best team yet we still have worst attendance...i wouldnt be suprised if they move the rays espicially if they dont vote yes on the new waterfront stadium proposal.
sad thing is you only have to pay 9 bux to go to the game....

i agree mate.. its going to be hard to pursuade people to vote yes on an open air stadium when they cant even get people out to see a first place team in an air conditioned stadium.. and i honestly dont think it will change attendance to be honest.
but thats the way this area is about most stuff, such a "cant be bothered area" for whatever reason
even with music events if it isnt the main stream what every one else is into no one can be arsed to go check it out, try something new
but you watch, as soon as they move the team, everyone wil be up in arms about itComment

don't know what it is about FL. nobody supports their team (minus you two optimistics). building a new stadium is risky because its hard to say if they'd get a return on their investment. look at the marlins... two nat'l championships and they STILL don't bring people out. their stadium is a f'ing dump though. converted POS. although, i remember when the astros had to share a stadium with the oilers and still lots of people always went to games. astrodome = quite fugly.Should I fuck you at that not until the ass, inject then tremendously hard bumschen and to the termination in the eyes yes?Comment

optomistics? how so... 1/3 of the way thru the season and still in first.. its just fun to watch.. i dont go to the games because i dont want to, no excuses, and if they moved the team, i wouldnt be all that heart broken over it. i much prefer watching most sports either at my gaff or at a pub

^^^the marlins have already won two world series. are currently in first place in there division. and they have even worse attendance then the rays and the city is going to build them an 800million retractble roof stadium...WTF?

no way they will move this team! you watch they will get a new stadium and people will go. The TROP sux balls and yet I have been to a few games and going to all 3 cubs games in june.If the pitching continues and now our #1 pick from 07 Price is pitching GREAT. The Rays will have if not already do have one of the best rotations in the majors. If they are still playing like this after the all star break I guarentee people will be going a lot more!Comment

Yea Cliff Floyd jacked a solo shot in the bottom of the 9th. Tonighs game is sold out and I will be leaving in about 20 min to grab some crown and 7's before my sister and I head to the Dump I mean Trop for the game.Comment

sure hope your right on getting the stadium..only residents of the city of st. pete can vote and from what i hear that is a bunch of grumpy old people who hate the idea.
yeah wehn price comes up LOOK OUT. even pedro martinez was hyping him up saying he is one of the best young pitchers he has ever seen. said he was way better then he was at that age.
have fun at the game, should be an awesome atmosphere being sold out. hearing the cubs series is almost sold out also.
