Re: >>>> Mercurypromote DJ Contest <<<&
My new demo which is up is 78min long, it doesn't really pick til the latter part, like I planned. Do you really want me to cut the meat out so it's 70 mins? Waiver anyone? It's still under member sets...'my new progressive mix and first on MS.' Thread. Late.

I saw a post in the progaddict forum which made me join this site. This is an awesome contest and this site is even better. It's cool to see such a comprehensive space on the web with substance. I'm looking forward to getting to know you all better and good luck on the mixes all of you!
Re: >>>> Mercurypromote DJ Contest <<<&
this is the KEY to a winning mix :
"We're looking for unique mixes. Grabbing the top records every jock is spinning and putting that into a set isn't going to cut it - be different, be creative"
i could see a wicked prog trip-hop mix stealing the trophy...
best of luck to all involved...

Guys and Gals, I have to hurry/leaving for short-term vacations.
I won't be back until next Tuesday, so if Get Carter is the correct answer, I would appreciate of someone else posts a new cap for me
Handbag house is a term from the mid 90s. It was used to describe tracks that caused women to raise their hands over their heads (ie, anthems). Not an easy task when holding a handbag, so a group of girls would dance in a circle and drop their handbags in the center. Therefore, at least one girl could keep an eye on the handbags and prevent any thefts. Everybody else coud reach for the ceiling.
If the term was used today, Eric Prydz "Call On Me" would definitely be handbag.
