I do not believe it will happen but I wish Romania wins and Italy and France can't pass the group rounds so they can't come back as our opponent later in the tournament. What I have seen from Holland so far was from another world and in this shape, each team in the tournament will have a very hard time beating them. I don't have the whole constellations in my head but I think we can't meet them before the Finals which is sooooo far away still. Also after the three Games we made so far I can't say that we would deserve it. I would take it nevertheless of course. But the best Games I saw so far were from other teams like Holland, France, Portugal or Turkey. Also Romania's 2nd Game was nice to watch.

to be fair the dutch didnt play that well, but romania didnt play at all. nothing. they acted like they had nothing to play for. we dont deserve to move forward. pure spectators. if the dutch were in our position, it would have been a quick 5-0

i liked them interviewing gullit after the game. the wonderful trio... what memories (when i lived in romania, steaua won the champions cup in 86, then lost in the semis in 88, and then in 89 we lost the final to ac milan - gullit and van basten each scored 2 goals - a team of italians and 3 dutch players; and in 88 the euro wins).

btw lol at gullit saying he used to look like a pornstar and he hopes marco van basten didnt make a mistake by beating romania and allowing italy back in. i would lmao if italy and the netherlands play again in the semis and italy beats them.

Italy even tho they are thru, now they will be without Pirlo and Gatusso.. two more big players the Azzurri will miss.

Both Games yesterday evening were boring imo. Romania did not do anything to my surprise, Holland did only what was needed and Italy won against a weakened France without Ribery, the heart of the team.

yeah the russians are playing their hearts out... romania should watch and learn...





Marco van Basten gathers up his squad and tell them their next match against Romania doesn't count for anything. They are all pissed, none of them want to play. Van der Sar says: 'You know what, why don't you all go clubbing, I'll play against them alone, by myself." They all agree.
At the club they decide to turn on the TV and they see: Holland leading 1-0, goal Van der Sar, 5th minute. They all cheer, turn the TV off and get back to partying.
At the end of the game, they turn the TV back on and they see: Holland-Romania 1-1, goal Mutu, 90th minute. They all run to the stadium and they find Van der Sar in the locker-room desolate and desperate. "What happened Van der Sar?"
"Guys, I'm really sorry, I got sent off in the 6th minute..."

wow, the Swedes look old. They offered nothing as far as counter attack, any time the got the ball forward the attack had to stop for 5 seconds waiting for some sort of support. I dont think Russia has a chance against the Dutch really, but they definitely deserve to be there

wow, for about 35 minutes portugal looked like they couldnt bothered. i was wonderig if they realised they still had to win the match to get to the semis.

and is it me, or when ronaldo is playing for his country more so than man u, he always looks on the verge of fuckin tears
