wow..time to say Goodbye Holland. I was sure they make it to the finals (and eventually beat Germany ) but congrats to Russia..great match and the biggest surprise of the Euro 2008 for me so far.

3 quarterfinals 3 group winners, and teams that rested players, out.. looks like a trend now more so than a surprise.

IMO Van der Sar kept that match a lot closer than it was.. unfortunately the best goalie in the tourny is going home.

Look for Italy to beat Spain I guess, lol

wanted to see Italy do it, but the better team obviously won.. Italy played or pk's from the start.

Spain v Russia definitely the better semi-final though IMO.. i think Russia has learned a lot from the 1st match of the tournament

What a let down the last quarter final game was besides the penalty shooting. Boring game as already stated here. One day left for Germany against the Turks..this should be fun tomorrow evening.

türkiye really should have won that thing but diddnt, they deserved it more than us, shame on us germans, what a fucking game from us!

Turkey was definitely a joy to watch!
Talk about retribution,, that left back had been abused all match, got owned on that 2nd Turkish goal.. and then comes down and creates a beautiful goal... ze Germans may not have deserved it, but twice Turkey scored and twice they let up afterwards and let Germany back in

i thought the turks deserved it more than ze germans. they played with 8-9 of their key players missing, imagine the damage they could have done with their full squad.
