Steve Lawler's New Mix CD VIVA TORONTO

So the postman just put this in my hands...... After JVM-Bedrock mix cd is done playing, I will give this a spin. I really enjoyed VIVA LONDON, in fact I think it was one of the better mixes Steve has put together.I saw it as a resurrection for him as I hadn't been into his sound since 2002 and before. I hope this mix is on par with the last one.

Anyway, thoughts, opinions of this new mix.

Havnt got my hands on a copy yet. However a good friend of mine saw him in Chicago during his tour and was so inspired she spontaneously drove to Toronto a few days later to catch his realase party. If the CD is anything like her experiences then it should be a nice release from Lawler.

Anxious to hear your thoughts.

About halfway through the first disc, and it is dark and I'm enjoying it so far.....actually sounds quite like a live set

After listening to it, I really like it, but not as much as VIVA London. I will give it a good listen tomorrow again....

Agreed, I liked liked Viva London but Viva Toronto is crap. I still like lawler but this is not a good mix at all.

there's a couple good songs on disc 1, other than that I listened to it a couple of times a month ago when I got the promo, haven't had any interest in listening to it again, Viva London is definetely the more solid of the 2.

^^^^ I agree London is better, but Disc 1 has some nice heavy sounds, still need to listen to disc 2 more throughly....

Hi,

CD1 is what Iīm enjoying right now, and I must say that itīs some groovy pumping shit thatīs going on
(where is the :weed emoticon gone? )
Some hangovers though, but the groove goes on rapidly

CD2 is more on the twisted side, me likes alot.

Will def buy that

I think ive decided i like cd 1 more then cd 2. Cd isn't bad, but cd 1 stands out to me more.
