Joris Voorn to do Balance 14

[Homegrove]

It's as good as official now, still need a statement from EQ about it but it IS him.

Couldn't be happier, he's somebody I didn't really even consider for it but definitely somebody who's on fire musically atm.

If he's ever been off...

Nice. They were talking about this on the Aussie forum. Voorn will be interesting. Actually Brikha could probably do a nice Balance as well.

might be the best one yet.

Dunno, Holden's effort is going to be hard to beat, to me that's one of the best mixes ever made. I do know for a fact that some people hate it though.

big call, there are some awesome albums out of the series.

002 Kasey Taylor
008 - Desyn
012 - SOS

It'll have to be fanfuckingtastic to top those.

Re: Joris Voorn to do Balance 14

008 and 013 had a specific sound that some people enjoy, if you didnt like 008, chances are you wouldnt like 013.

although i absolutely love about half of the balance releases, nothing will top 005 imo. holdens mix is pure genious. and still sounds fresh 5 years later...

next to 005, anthony pappas disc 1 is my all time favorite. it actually has more plays on my itunes than 005 does...

Re: Joris Voorn to do Balance 14

no shit? i really thought i was in the minority on that.

download? nah. i don't even use slsk or torrents or whatever. I pretty much find stuff on here, newmixes, and westocean events. anything commercial, I buy. (on a side note, this is why i don't buy GU's anymore. it's too risky to shell out 20+ dollars on something that could sound like absolute shit.)
