Focus on the Family is praying for rain, anyway -- "abundant, torrential" rain of Biblical proportions, and more specifically, enough rain to drown out Barack Obama's acceptance speech at Invesco Field.

I'm ready for it. I just hope, and it is probably silly of me to think this, that at some point it will begin to backfire. Negative campaigning works, but I think we might get to see what happens when taken to its extreme.

I'd love hear someone talk about what a charismatic visionary John McCain is, or all the great things he's going to do for the country. Something, anything. But we won't, because making the race about John McCain is a losing proposition. It's easier to just make shit up.
