Sasha - live @ amnesia, ibiza "thank you mix"

[simonr]

I have to say that this is a very fuckin big thank you !

Once it gets going, hands down it beats all other sets over the past few years (and to these ears some have been mediocre).

Just wish he played like this all the time

You missed it dude, it's never gonna be played again, and it wasn't recorded. I know where you can get a copy though.

argh whats happened to sasha's sound recently

mixings perfect as always but its not the same as its always been with regards to energy or excitement

Re: Sasha - live @ amnesia, ibiza "thank you mix"

totally agree red1, this set just does nothing for me at all.

he needs to drop the boring minimal prog stuff, leave that to digweed!

on the other hand though, involver 2 is well class.

I have to say I prefer the one from Creamfields. I've been playing it nonstop in the car.

Re: Sasha - live @ amnesia, ibiza "thank you mix"

Its funny - some prefer the Creamfields mix others the amnesia. Looks like ... different venues/different crowds/different weather produced different styles of sets.

Some of the amnesia comments below:

"i loooove my melodies so this thank you mix was a nice treat"

"this is the sasha of old for me and until this mix about 10minutes in...... i reqlly didnt think he had this kinda music in his box anymore...... its just proves to me that like a switch he can move from style to style and all his recent stuff on emFire and now the techy invol2ver is just him involving on his musical journey as a musician

for the longest time i missed that melodic prog sets of his but the lqst two thqnk you mixes have just been a melodic dreamscqpe....... saying to me i can do it when i want to but i chose not to.......

lll finish with this .......if id been in ammenisa i would of cryied...... cause this mix is beautiful"

"lovely"

"this thank you mix is waaay better than his essential mix from creamfields...

i'm an hour into this & i'm not gonna lie here..it's the sh!t"

"i need the name of the tune that starts at 1:28.43
and also the one that starts at 1:02.32
and finaly the tune that starts at 42:30"

"Fucking hell The Wave will be masturbating furiously when he See's this"
