I-Pod Question

Does the I-Pod have a regular headphone connection or is it a special connection?

The reason I ask is because if I buy one I would like to plug it in to my car radio tape adapter.

Word. Might wanna wait a little while. Even though the 4th gen just came out, word around is that a new color one with new features is about to come out.

Also - don't buy it at the Apple store. I got my first one at Target and it was a gen 3 then a month later the gen 4 came out and I exchanged it for free.

If it just has a normal 3.5mm jack why does everyone use the ghee white earphones that come with it?

FYI...
You will get better sound if the pod sits on its dock, and you run your audio line off the dock.

i don't use the ghei white headphones. i don't want to announce to the world i have ?300 worth of equipment in my breast pocket plus i want deep bass sounds and don't want to hiss.
