19-1, well, 20-1 now.. I honestly dont see them giving up 1st place the rest of the way, especially how confident they must be right now.. I mean as young as they are, after getting pounded 13-5 on monday after dropping two at Yankee Stadium to come back and beat Beckett and then hammer them last night... this is really something special to watch

soooo many other unbelievable stories this year with them..)....and not to menion there walk off wins...they must have at least 10 of those. unreal.

just when you think there about to break they keep pulling something incredible off...

hard to believe no one player really stands out as the key cog...truthfully they are really winning with high quality pitching and outstanding defense (except when bartletts out)

yeah, i think they said 11 walk off wins.. reminiscent of the braves in their heyday, winning so many times in their last at bat..

in the beginning of the season, this "we are one team" thing sounded really ghey... but you know what, its the truth.. one goes down, and they plug another one in. and with this perez kid in CF, Upton is probably realising he needs to hustle when gets back in there or else

funny how Delmon Young and the other asshole Elijah Dukes were so quick to want to get out of Tampa.. now one is on a last place team and the other may or may not make even make the play offs, and his old team can clinch their playoff spot in this series against his current team

Cubbies finished the season nicely, wrapping up home field at wrigley which is huge for them. I was waiting for the wheels to fall off, and they did for a bit there, but they ended up finishing pretty strong. Now we get to see the Cubs in October, which is completely new territory for them.

^^ i would love it but the way the rays starting pitching has been lately (kazmir has struggled mightly) i am doubting the will be able to hold up in the playoffs....

anyone see that meets win last night?> the kind of win that gets a team rolling, they came back twice from being 3 runs down to win it with a walkoff.


mets/phillies/brewers issues are sick right now. 1,2,3 right on top of each other playing for two spots.

not to mention that the twins, with some help form the wsox and yankees, can make the playoffs.

god i love baseball. for the last two to three weeks of the season , there is always at least one divions that changes placing twice a day.

replace Kaz with Price and the Rays will be fine
or when ever Kazmir starts, just get Price warming up immediately, lol

I agree wiht you 100% but knowing madden he will make Kaz the #1 pitcher and he will also make percival the closer...Two mistakes imo. and you cant really make those kinda mistakes in a 5 game series. Madden sometimes is too loyal. Leave Jackson off the roster I am tired of his mental lapses.

gosh i really hope they can do it tonite....if they win the East that would be a tremendous accomplishement for them. i just cant stand the sox and would love for the rays to beat them out for the division espcially after they won it all last year
