One word......BRILLIANT. Jack the Ripper + Love Story entwined...... starring Johhny Depp and Heather Graham. Cant believe how little this movie is known but how incredibly good it is.

I dont think thats what it was, that sect seemed like they had nothing to do being the "queen's instrument". the old doctor, who was a die hard freemason, felt the responsibility to take the cleansing into his own hands. The trial was a theater: it had been arranged in order to dispose of the "weapon/evidence" (the doctor in this case).
They/she used the doctor for Her end, and they disposed of him afterwards in a subtle way, a masonic court!
