Where did all the Obamas go??

[runningman]

Since the election has ended I haven't been seeing the Obamas on here. Probably hiding their faces now that they realize that "change" was just a slogan.

Clinton Secretary of State
Gates staying as Secretary of Defense

Oh it sounds like change to me........

Re: Where did all the Obamas go??

The neocons are realizing that Obama really is a centrist candidate, that several of his picks are what McCain would have picked (Bennet and Gates instantly come to mind).

normally, yes.

but in this current day instance, with the lamest of lame ducks in office, and half the world waiting to hear what the greatest salesman ever has to say, and expecting so, considering he can already begin work by having the congress(who has a majority already) start work. transitional periods in governement are prepartory times for markets and law. factor in the greatest financial crunch of our time, he should be activly involved.

nothing will change. obama fooled everyone much like GW2. ffs, hillary clinton. i mean comon. what happens in 2 years when the secretary of state decides she has to begin campaigning and stop working.

Re: Where did all the Obamas go??

Debating right after the election is silly. We're taking time off until he actually gets sworn in.

btw lol at Obama withdrawls by you guys.

Re: Where did all the Obamas go??

^ can't be as bad as the neocon withdrawal from realizing Sarah Palin is NOT the second coming of the virgin mary.

Re: Where did all the Obamas go??

FFS people...I agree this is a fairly silly debate to have right now. First of all, you all know damn well that things are not going to change dramatically in the short term because there isn't anyone short of Jesus Christ himself who can un-fuck our way beyond fucked up economy right now. It's going to take time to unwind itself. Furthermore, while Bush may be a lame duck, it's not like Obama can just help himself to the Oval Office right now and start signing bills into law. He's out in the media now talking all the time about who he's putting on his team and what plans he's developping. There isn't much more he can do right now.

i wasn't an obama person but im sure as fuck happier to know at least the rest of the world isn't looking at us like a bunch of assholes anymore. my travels from my gigs have proved that.

Re: Where did all the Obamas go??

well I hope that Obama doesn't fuck it up (people around the world looking at US like assholes) like Bush did after 9/11

Re: Where did all the Obamas go??
