Yeah that Fast track pro is pretty sweet. I purchased it for the same reason. I think I paid $150 at guitarcenter. It was a pretty good deal. It has zero latency from what I have noticed, and cranks it up decent enough for any recording.

^^ i dont think you get zero latency on the Fast trak Hambino21....but for recording it works like a charm

What I would like more than anything else is time. Every holiday season feels increasingly more hectic -- I feel like I'm constantly driving from one place to another and if I'm not driving somewhere, I'm thinking about driving somewhere. Some time to just sit on my ass, play gin rummy with my wife and sip on some hot mulled cider while it snows outside would totally meet my needs. No thinking about work, no getting ready to hop in the car to go wherever, just relaxing. Gifts are nice, but that's what I'd really like.

I want my dad to retire so that he doesn't have to work seven days a week, putting in 12 hours days every day for sometimes a month or so at a time. He gets a day off every couple of weeks. He is 62 years old. It's time that he began to enjoy life.

Me and my brother are going to have a sit down with him, to convince him that he needs to sell his house and retire.

That would be my perfect Christmas wish come true.

yep, never expect anything, that way you never get disappointed. I'd rather buy everything on my own than expect/wait/be disappointed in the absence of.

Make him start to live, so that you and your bro can really begin to enjoy life with him. I was really looking forward to spending all kinds of time with my Dad, but you know what happened there. Only three months out he had a heart attack and was gone.
