How do you deal with co-workers

I am looking for suggestions on how to deal with the idiots you work with day to day. Currently we have a telemarketing team and they all suck. Seriously, they have no common sense...don't follow direction...do the opposite of what you tell them and just overall don't get the big picture.

The emails one of them send me are hilarious because they just don't make sense. Sometimes they aren't even proper English. You have to read between the lines or go back and forth 3-4x before you can figure out what they want. Questions get asked that if they paid attention to the damn subject line they would know EXACTLY what the answer is to their question. I don't even know how to reply anymore...without being a complete bitch.

Anyways, how do you deal with incompetent co workers?

I just ignore it, as hard as that is, and hope that the food chain of work will eventually get rid of them.

Depends on the job they do and why they do it - if they can't be arsed and have no interest then you're stuck.

A couple of sackings for incompetence will focus the others - it also sends out a message. Sackings are easier with Contractors, so it depends on terms of employment. If contracted put them through disciplinary procedures based on their a lack of competence/unwillingness to do the job to the level required.

Problem:
With models, usually it is very hard to deal among women due to "women stuff" (i.e. who is more beautiful, catwalks better and all that stuff).

Solution:
I use my wildcard, I throw sets at them....and they are all happy with a smile on their faces....
