^^^ Let me tell you it would have been amazing to have the whole thing. One of the guys said they only asked Danny if they could record when they realised it was going to be special They weren't listening hard enough!! You could tell it was going to be special from the first track !!

'Gripper' is a really good track indeed.

Listened to both parts 1 & 2 now and they are solid. I'm in a bit of a catch 22 situation here though - do I dl part 3 or not - I wouldnt want to not enjoy it because that would spoil parts 1 & 2 for me if that makes sense................

Look at the tracklist Pt 3 is actually my favourite, although not by much!!

They had to get permission from Danny on arrival. By the time they could organise recording an hour had already passed.

^^^ Now I wouldn't expect you to just take my word for it.

This is what Dan wrote in forum !!

We only asked Danny if we could record the set around an hour and a half into his set, as he was having so much fun and we knew he would give us something special.. (normally your not allowed to record any sets unless artist really wants it recorded - so you cant just start recording and then tell them at the end)

We're spewing too, we would of loved to have our set recorded as the warm up set.. (oh well, maybe next time)

I'm lovin' the whole set, but part 1 & 2 are insane.

I have a huge respect for Danny Howells.Very few Djs nowadays even care about doing marathon sets (I think most of them shit their pants if they receive an invitation to play a 6/7/8h live set), they just want to do 2h sets where they play all their hit tunes and don't need to bother too much. Danny tries to do his thing with his Dig Deeper parties all over the world, doing his marathon set's with this incredible ability of blending deep house, with tech-house, progressive, techno, or whatever kind of music he is in the mood of playing to the crowd he has in front of him.

A huge thanks for this set.

This is easily one of the best live sets ever from Danny Howells. I am really impressed with the first 2 parts and parts 3 and 4 are pretty damn sweet also. This set blows almost anything else live ive heard from him out the water(well, the charlotte set is fuckin good)!
