Tomm moring I am going to get on the tube as usual to go to work (financial management company on the City, zzz). Get in, make a coffee and have some breakfast. Then ill sit down, check my emails and send my boss a meeting request.
I shall then proceed to give my boss one months notice that I am leaving in order to go to Thailand with one of my closest mates for at least a year so I can pursue my dream of being a poker professional This prob sounds ridicuous to alot pf peeps but there is alot of money to be made in online poker and I have been doing pretty well so far, certianly well enough to live very comfortably in Thailand (as do dozens of other players who I will be meeting up with from a well known Poker forum). I have friends who are consistently making silly amounts of money and I know I can achieve it as well. This is the best way to give it a shot for me - doing something I have a silly passion for, full time with no financial pressure. Plus living in a tropical paradise with amazing food, beer and ladies is also fairly appealing
If it doesnt work for some reason (which it will) then fuck it, ill try something else, but if I dont do this I will regret it for the rest of my life so gogogo imo!!!

Good luck pal, a close friend of mine plays a lot of online poker and is quite good at it. He quit his job over 5 years ago and consistently earns more each year than he would have done by working. He doesn't have to commute to work, sit in traffic, put up with office politics etc and has at least 3 holidays per year.

Life isn't about how to survive the storm, but how to dance in the rain.

some of those 'ladies' might have a spare something or other in their panties so watch out. And stay clear of t3h AIDS and the funky overthrows of government here and there.
Anyway, good luck. My poison are the markets. Just remember, it's not gambling if you win 100% of the time.

It's one of those things, if you didn't do it you'd just end up regretting it - so fair play for realising your dreams.
Just make sure you win anough for a business class flight in October for the 11th Birthday !
I'm actually considering a few weeks in the far east later in 2009 if I've got the dosh and if Diggers does his usual end of year tour. With the £ being shite it makes sense to cast my partying net further afield .. so I may look you up !
Anyways .. the v best of luck, oh and watch out for those Ladyboys !
