    Richie Hawtin using Traktor

    http://www.residentadvisor.net/dj-fe...d=55&feed=1840

13 minute video of Hawtin explaining his current live setup and how he manipulates tracks. I found it very useful

Will be interesting to hear how this changes a digweed live experience!

Cool vid ... just hope JD doesn't go effect/loop/stutter mad with his Traktor setup.

This release was mastered direct from vinyl at the request of the DJ and as such features natural sound characteristics of this medium such as record surface noise.

yep, I think that's the same video that Traktor Scratch Pro has been featuring on its promo website for a while now.

Im planning on buying one of these software/interface for home use. I know this topics has been discussed but with no real useful outcome. What are your experiences or recommendations... Or is there a new software coming out soon worth waiting for?? Thanks.

we've been talking about this for a while now bro. NI released the series of videos, you can even get them off the Minus Podcasts. And get them on your ipod.

Saw Hawtin play for two hours tonight and he was simply mindblowing! It was relentless techno from start to finish and the way he could bring sounds in and out was amazing. I highly recommend checking out him and his traktor setup if you can.
