Do people today go out to lose themselves in music like when I started on the scene, or do people go out, drink to get drunk, and lose themselves away from their shit lives and the shit happening around them?
a little off topic with what I'm about to say but that is actually a very good point you bring up. It is something I personally wondered about because of the amount I tend to party whenever I get the opportunity. I don't know if I consider it borderline ridiculous but even just a weekend of heavy drinking with my buddies - I feel like shit the next day (not from being hungover but from a guilty perspective feeling wtf was that really needed).
It wasn't so bad last year when my wife was overseas for a few months and I partied like a caged animal freed from a lifelong imprisonment. But this time this feeling of overdoing it is getting worse. Maybe this issue needs a new thread.

yea but the question is do you feel shit about doing it?
I would do but I'm normally on a tight leash when shes here, I can't wait to party a bit. Especially having a child to look after as well. I don't get much time on my own.
Funny to read that almost everybody prefers Sasha on the wheels of steel (may this be turntables or cdj's, that doesn't matter) playing tracks with good melody's instead of the minimal and tech stuff.
