getting behind the wheel drunk and getting my dwi, that was a dumb thing. it took a lot out of me financially and emotionally.

But the biggest regret I have was not spending more time with my grandfather. He was my best friend growing up, took me places and gave me nothing but love all the time.

He passed away on October 1 of this year.

This one goes to him.

I also got a DUI during my days at Penn State Univ. It was stupid and it's still costing me a lot finacially in car insurance.

My biggest regret is that in early to mid-90s, I saw the tech boom coming. I was working a 9-5 job in the city, reading the Wall St Journal on the train, noticing how much tech was starting to blow up. I then feel back into the club scene and was too busy partying to see how right I was. By the time I came back down to earth, I pretty much missed the whole thing.

Oh well, like the previous poster said, lesson learned. I will NOT miss the next "gold rush." (eyes pealed for new trends developing....)

i tend to learn from my mistakes. i also have a value system that in anything that does not kill you makes you stronger.

Everyone has regrets. Thing is you can't live life in the past. Learn from it and move on. Sure there are many thing I wish I did different but it is to late to change it now. Just get over it. Think about the futuer and you can change that not the past.

Thinking too much about the future can be almost as bad as worrying about things in the past though. Tomorrow never comes ...

Personally, I've only ever had regrets about things I DIDN'T do rather than things i DID. As someone else said earlier, what doesn't kill you makes you stronger.

Over the years, I have learned to regret nothing - on the large scale (I've regretted that last drink on a number of occasions ). Even when I momentarily feel as though I've made a bad decision, I end up realizing several months down the road that I am at a better place because of it.

With a positive outlook, misery is only temporary and regret is pointless.
