^Age difference was an issue 32/40, I felt we had very little in common, after the meal she wanted me to go back to her place for coffee and sex.
I said no as i feel that you have to have a connection/ spark which i felt there was none.
Maybe i'm too old fashioned or just not sure how to date anymore.
My last serious date was in 1992 when i was dating my then to be wife.
My friends all think i'm a pussy but i seem to have this internal moral code that i won't cross unless there is something there.

Nah , You did the right thing. To thine own self be true is a pretty good motto . I use it
I used to go out with a guy a few years ago who said that even if your moral code is that you don't sleep with people with blue eyes, you have to stick by that moral code. He was very right !!
