It's actually funny you mention this. Recently I've had to help to our delivery driver make a few pickups around town and all he listens to is the radio. He just keeps flipping from one channel to another hoping to find something to listen to. But there's a fucking cd player in the truck. So on my 3rd or 4th time to ride with him, I brought my cd case. Granted I put in some early 90's rap music, but he fucking loved it. That dude was freaking out in the front seat like, "awe damn, I remember this jam". He was all waving his arms and cutting a front seat rug. Never saw him do that to any song he heard on the radio. Crazy what a little Eightball & MJG - "Coming Out Hard" can do for a lost black man.

in the end that doesn't matter because that music garners more chicks than our music does. and if those chicks are getting freaky on the dance floor, then i am too. that's more than we can say for our music which is primarily full of dudes...

i too despise the radio. if i have to listen to fecking beyonce sing about single ladies and sound like little girls singing while playing double ducth one more 'gin, i feel that i can not be held accountable for my actions.

nah, not too much! you are completely right! you pretty much hit it on the head - sure enough, i got in today to the office, and crappy caterwalling bullshit is cranking on the stereo - which has a sub - and i wanna play dance music... lol this sucks. Im just going to eat my bagel and drink my redbull and laugh at the philistines in here lol

Now this may be a shocking thing to say here,

but I think maybe a large proportion of people aren't actually that into music. This stuff is just a very simple, accessible soundtrack . They don't want to have to think about it. Thank goodness we have places like MS where the people who want to think about it, can !
