Just out of interest, what gear did you use? I can chop tunes up quite easily now, but I have trouble with accapellas as they don't always start on a down beat and it does my head in. Much easier with decks!

Remco: I am very new to editing, have only made 5 edits or something, so I dont think I have any special tips. I use acid and soundforge. Some of my mates use ableton live, it is suppose to be much better, but I dont understand that program.

With accas I think you should just do it by ear, pitch up and down until it fits, or chop it up, easier that way.

With that skylark edit I only chopped up a sample from hoochie koochie man, and put the "I'm ready" bit over the tune.
