Cool....thanks for all the respones. I was thinking there must be a way to fill the room with water, but I'm yet to find the valve. I'll try it when I get home.

It should run fine. This game is tuned like none before it. I've got a 2.6 P4, 1GB DDR400 and a Radeon 9600XT and I get between 30-130 FPS with everything cranked. The frames jump up and down alot, you can go from 30 frames to 100 just by turning you head, but I figure that will be addresed in a future update.

The game is awsome looking but it is one pile of BUG right now.
The audio stuttering is unplayable at times, this is certainly NO fun.
Something's wrong with the sound loading into the cache.
The sounds are calculated on your processor instead of your sound card...
I hope they fix this game VERY SOON!
I stopped playing right now, because the stuttering is really killing the experience for me!

Lets hope this is not true. Although I've noticed many games try to access the internet during gameplay. They spent $40million in the development of HF2 so I wouldn't be surprised.

I have a GeForce4 MX 440 (read crappy) and it runs great. Slight stutter during the auto-save on single player, but no slow-down at all with the online games.

I've read that my card can't handle the game, but I beg to differ.

The requirments for this game are surprisingly low for how unreal the visuals are. I've read on other sights that some are getting 45-50 FPS with like GeForce 5200s and other lower level cards.

I play it on a P4 3 Ghz, 1 GB Ram and ATI 9800 Pro@1280x1024 with full details and everything turned on inclusive Full Screen Antialiasing...runs like a charm. Far cry and Doom 3 look slightly better but HL2 needs much less CPU and graphic card power...well done Valve.
