I have tried so hard to like Desyn !! So many I know do!! But I just find his musical so superficial . Light and funky perhaps , but I want more !!

I wouldn't be surprised if my opinion was coloured a little by his behaviour here a little while ago !!

not a very good set...not sure what has happedn to des but listing to some of his sets he seems to have lost his signature sound that made him so famous.

I think that's what he's been trying to do though, isn't it? Didn't he say he was embarassed by what he used to play? Someone posted the interview in another thread.

his last several mixes such as the Jimbo rendered for felix mix have all been outstanding...plenty of great mixes from him as of late imo, this one is what it is, i personally don't think its bad, but far from as good as many of his other recently released livesets.

true this mix is quite different from his usual and i think its good he went for a change!
although i still absoultely love his previous work, i'm also really enjoying this one, for me this mix is amazing, me likes it A LOT woooo

I was one of the greatest Desyn fan from 2003 to 2007. I have all of his mix from 2003. Believe me, this mix is shiit from Desyn. Listen to his Platinum Rabbat set, or his Essential mix from 2004, or Kiss Fm mixes, and notice the difference. Desyn had a unique style before, but nowdays he plays this oridnary minimal, electro shiit. This is my opinion.

I actually think people are allowed to comment what they want on this site.

But this single quote above made up my decision on whether to download the mix or not. I agree 100% about the previous mixes he raises, as they were some of my favorite, and if he says this mix is naff in comparison them I will pass on this mix.
