a good friend of mine from college beat it in about a years time after having a tumor removed from her brain, she's 30 years old.
The diagnosis of the cancer before it had spread is the key.
It was fun while it lasted...

After learing about how it all works these past few years, frankly I am amazed more people don't have than what we see now. There are so many systems controlling cell regulation, so many places for things to go wrong, I am just often amazed that so often its able to work right at all.It's never too late to become the person you always thought you would be.Comment

Smoking aside, is it because of the food we're eating these days? I don't recall cancer being so rampant when I was growing up. Surely there must be some kinda environmental/external factor that's causing the increase?

one of my best friends has a malignant brain tumour - they could only get 95% out by operation.
4-11months life expectancy. 2 kids to explain it to.

. My worst nightmare having to tell my 2 little ones. Had to hav a whole bunch of tests last couple months for some health issues, found a couple spots on my liver and lung. Thank god it was nothing, but sad thing is not scary enough to quit tobacco. 
To all those fighting it you courage and strength is amazing. That Jimmy V speech from the espy's years ago makes me cry everytime I hear it.

That's what I don't get, cancer seems to be afflicting just as many non-smokers from my anecdotal point of view which makes you wonder if all of us are gonna get it, why bother. But I'm 6 days into not smoking again, gonna see how long this lasts.
