maybe he´s not having a good moment in his life, and looks at yours and thinks he/she wants something similar. Didn´t it happen to you sometime in the past? I think it´s "normal" if it doesn´t go too far....

i guess youre right, i might be overreacting to this, coz my friend is not doing so well atm

well just the way she talks to me and giving me negative comments about stuff thats not even related to my case + i feel like shes competing with me, not wanting to accept my help and actually avoiding me when her plans fail, i mean she should know that a true friend is the last person to judge her

^sounds like someone whose not being a friend to themselves (similar to what Micko mentioned).

I think friendships between women in general can be complicated, starting in their mid to late 20's...men are just much more easy going, from what I've observed in my life.

That might also be the age where it becomes less and less "appropriate" by societal terms for women to have lots of guy friends...

...on a whole though, women are superior at relationship building then men.

But you did judge her. You accused her of being jealous and questioned whether she was a good friend, and on an international forum.

well i think theres a big difference between thinking outloud on an international forum where no one knows her and talking about her with someone who does. also i didnt judge her, i judged our friendship, cause her jealousy involves me.
also thinking outloud on an international forum got me some good feedback and help me see the situation from a different point of view withouth having my friend exposed in a real situation
