i have hesitated on posting in this thread for a while and i can't take it anymore.....what annoys me is losing my job after 5 years of service to a company due to the shit hole the economy is in, thus ensuing losing my house, my car, etc.....i mean my dog won't even let me pet it. after being unemployed for months, finally getting a job (the only one i could get) only to to be offered draw + commission for a sales job, whatever i'll take it. after being in the new job for 2 weeks finding out from your new employer that the back child support that has stacked against you during the time of being unemployed is now being taken out of your draw. in short, i only get half of the draw that i am not making again, due to the economy.

Yeah I know what you mean, My company has taken advantage of the current situation to completely exploit out work force. We work more hours for less pay, all our bonuses have gone, we have to pay more into our pension to get the same out of it in the end. Its them same story at most of the big companies where I live. I hope thinks turn around for you. It sounds like your in a worse position than me.

i did. lost my job, my house, my car and currently working on being evicted from my apartment. good times. this is why i don't post much anymore, no one likes to hear from a downer

on the otherside of things, i did happen to reconnect with the love of my life and got married. emotionally, i have never been happier, but financially this is by far the worst time of my life.....thank budha for my wife.

thank you, thank you. i feel very fortunate to have her. i simply try to remain positive and beleive that there is a reason for my suffering. i truly beleive that i needed to lose everything from my "old life" in order to make the new one work. it has definitely humbled me and made me appreciate the little things in life.

I agree rainman. Suffering and sacrifice is the cleansing of the soul.

I experienced something similar a while ago. I always took comfort in knowing that there was no where to go but up.. best wishes man..

companies that make like 300 million fucking dollars a year profit and who "cant afford" to hire new staff to replace ones left or upgrade their computers, which i have to use, all day, that fuck out all the time. I have a fucking celeron d on my desk with half a gig of ram... ive thrown out newer computers than this.

to make matters worse - the place im talking about is an ISP. un-fucking-real.
