Something about this just does not sit right with me, so to speak. Yeh, yeh..on with the conspiracies. Whatev!

Think about a few points, though. For the first time ever, they are plotting everyone's residence into a GPS traction system. Why? I have some theories & I'm sure you can think of some yourself. Either legitimate or not so much.

Also...

The U.S. Census Bureau has created a Census in Schools program called 2010 Census: It's About Us. The program will provide educators with resources to teach the nation's students about the importance of the census so children can help deliver this message to their families. The program will engage America's youth to help ensure every child and every household member is counted in 2010.

Do I have to talk to the census taker?


Yes. Your participation in the 2010 Census is vital and required by law, (Section 221, of Title 13 of the U.S. Code). However, rather than rely on criminal charges, the Census Bureau is very successful in getting participation by explaining the importance of the questions we ask and how the information benefits our communities.

• The Census Bureau provides the census taker with a binder containing all of the addresses that didn't send back a filled out census form
• The census taker then visits all of those addresses and records the answers to the questions on the form
• If no one answers at a particular residence, a census taker will visit that home up to three times, each time leaving a door hanger featuring a phone number; residents can call the number on the hanger to schedule the visit.

So, if I do not fill out & send in the Census form & just happen to not be home during any of the three times the Census taker visits, I go to jail &/or face criminal prosecution? Sweet! I love my freedom!

I haven't had to do a census up here in Canada.. I'm 28

right? lol, some people will look for the tiniest supposed infringement and blow it out of proportion

maybe if they gave you a free hamgburger, donut or cup of coffee, would that be better?

Dude - I have something even MORE shocking for you. Listen up:

If you Google your name, you can probably find out that they have your address. And if you Google map your address, you can probably find that they have picture of your house! oh noes, it's a conspiracy! run for teh hills.

Even more shocking...my real address is not searchable via Google & my house is completely hidden from Google Earth. No worries mate!

Ahhh...you got me there!

Actually, we're all traceable via cellphones. Also, all new passports are chipped & many states are chipping drivers licenses now.
