well look at your family history, specifically when did your grandfather on your mom's side went bold. it should give you some idea to how much time you have. because excessive shredding sometimes does not mean that you are going bold, my wife shreads like there is no tomorrow and she is far from being bold, when she goes to cut her hair their charge her like 5 times the normal rate.

in any rate good luck, because i was pissing my pans too because my dad and my grandfather went bold in early age so i can totally relate.

yep, i know how it is, it doesn't feel good. Could be a slow and painful process which definitely will cause some psychological damage in the long run . And if it is in the family history, I don't think there is so much that you can do to stop it.

I have the horrible habit of running my hands through my hair when I'm stressed (in a bitchass exam, working to meet a deadline etc.). I do it even before I notice that I'm doing it. I don't know why. So now that my hair is starting to thin a bit at the front I know its totally my fault. No one to blame but myself. Must ... stop ... touching .... my .... hair .... ahhhh! Then ironically when I start stressing about how I'm stupidly causing my receding hairline my hands start to try to run themselves through my hair to relieve the stress. Its an idiotic split personality battle between my brain and my hands.

and as an afterthough, I think its totally retarted and unfair how most balding or receding men are overly hairy everywhere (chest, nose, arm pits, occasionally ears and ass) except where its important to be hairy (the head). You'd think natural selection would have fixed this by now. For frigs sake, just give us some hair on the head, and stop it sprouting everywhere else!!!
