One of those moments...

You guys probably know i do a lot of meditating for a long time now, so during my practice I got familiar with Indian chants, I absolutely love the vibes I get from them even if I’m not in meditative state. I was always curious to see if there was a dj who dared to use them in a mix. So this thread is not about meditation, its about this guy

I was told awhile back that I should remember his name, and I believed it but I didn’t really get into his music until I heard this mix, until I heard these Indian chants mixed in so beautifully – wow, I was hooked in an instant. Then I give it another listen, a proper listen this time. It was one of those moments when you realize that life just got so much better bc you got to hear a mix like this. One of the few mixes that have an enormous amount of different things going on but it is not too much, it is just right and that in my opinion is rare quality in a dj. I sort of imagine a dj having all these different tracks in his mind at the same time, making up a program that would fit all of them in a right place at a right time so that he keeps the flow in a perfect balance. You need a real talent for that. And this guy has it. Plus his crazy, kinky, goofy image makes him an intriguing person even more, sexy too So from now on I have a lot of respect for him!

Hey katja ,thank you for sharing , so far im listening to this set and I'm loving it .

Tonight I was in a club called "Elbo room" here in SF and this group called "Afrolicious" were playing some african latin techno live EDM and it was fucking awesome , at one point they mixed a very famous "African Peruvian" vocal tune with some tribal beats and it sounded so amazing I couldnt believe it, the whole floor came a hundred times..................

I understand completely what you mean when you say tha you were hoping for a dj to drop this amazing music atmosphere , that you are so familiar with , it happen to me tonight and it made my week

Seth has been on my radar for a while now.. very new fresh sounds for me and I love the fact that he's always doing something different... almost reminds me of how I felt the very fist time I listened to a Zabiela set.

had him down for a party with butane, bill patrick, ryan crosson, and ryan elliot when he was living in detroit several years ago, around 2006 i think. what an amazing night/day. knew after that weekend he was destined for big things. such a unique unforced style. real talent.

I΄ll follow your recomend and d/l the set, let΄s take a listen to it! I΄m into meditation and other spiritual practices since many years ago, and always thought if there was someone who mixes "spiritual" music with edm, cause I love both but can΄t imagine them mixed toghether. thank you lady! I΄m happy to hear that more people in [ms] are into meditation
