You are probably better off if they never find it as long as its insured. My roommate in college had his stoleen car recovered...

crack vials, used condoms, blood stains, and what we think was urine...when we the police called us to recover it the cop was just shaking his head.

In high school, senior year, I had my car stolen but they only took it a block down the road and stole my new cd deck and CDs out. I highly doubt they even liked trance...serves em right.
