        Most have already said what I would suggest: lots of rest, fluids, honey and garlic. For the garlic I take a piece of toast with some honey and as much minced garlic as I can handle.

        One other thing that I didn't see mentioned is gargle some salt water or even mouthwash to help kill the germs.

            When sick I've only ever had garlic with butter on toast, but with honey sounds like a much better alternative! Nice one.

                                The honey/ginger/lemon thing seems to have worked, I'm back at work after 2 days of guzzling that mixture at home!
