I feel for you, my wife and I just bought a house for the first time and it takes a while. If you can get into a house now is the time, I swear when we were looking prices were going up. Don't rush things, things will come around.

i got an 40 gig creative jukebox zen extra earlier this year with the price coming in at less that 200 quid and a 12 hour battery i thought it was the better option sound quality is crisp but each to there own

That's a funny statement. The only people I hear 'hyping' the iPod are those that own them, so there must be some truth in what we are saying. I'm not an Apple employee nor do I own stock in Apple, I'm just a very satisfied end user. I've owned several portable mp3 players in the past and this one is by-and-large the best purchase I've ever made.

i got the jukebox zen. it holds lots and lots of music, but imho, it sucks fucking goatballs. the sound qual is good and the battery does last forever, BUT the software it comes with is horrible, my unit freezes occasionally and the computer lots of time doesn't read the unit when its plugged in the usb port. i know it is not just my player that this happens to either. i think jib has the same issues.

i bought a jukebox zen last year. it died after 7 months. the warranty was only for 6 months, so i basically got ripped off.

so, i went out & bought an ipod, which i've had now for 9 months. my ipod works great. i have never had the slightest problem with it. only thing that sucks is the earbuds. for good sound, better off spending extra for a pair of dj headphones.
