I've heard some decent newer trance on Proton Radio lately. It had been a few months since I had last tuned in to Proton, but the last 5 days I've been listening here and there and there's always a trance(ish) mix on there it seems, and they aren't so bad. I think like anything the contrasting bpm sometimes is a nice change.

I went to see Tiesto when was I into trance and I still didn't like him. I liked AVB also Marcus Schultz ??
