a friend of mine, dj, when I knew him he said "so you like edm? I'll copy you some edm music on cd so you can listen to what I like"... he brought a recorded cd with "roger sanchez live at some-fuckin-beautiful-place" written in it, I played it and.... wtf? shitty remix of the red hot chili peppers mixed with that stupid song of one of the spice girls? "thanks man, good luck with your djing". fuck you, I threw the cd away, making big scratches on it so no one could ever listen to it

Regardless of whatever asshole sound is out there blasting through the speakers of a very good friends party ...I know better... so I just avoid the party ...basically at this point of my life Bad music pisses me off , I just really feel like throat punching the cunt that made me listen to that shitty track.

what really makes me sad is that one of my old buddies that even brought me into this music and showed me gems like GU san fran and NE are also indulged in this crap stuff, so we cant go to shows together like we used to, and its mainly coz they like to go to the other parties coz it has more girls and its in nicer venues...i understand this tho hhaha the ratio of men to women in a Diggs nite wont quite be like swedish house talapia...but fuk that id rather go for the music, and lately thats what ive been doin, i love my friends tho but we have agreed to disagree on music...had to revive my buddy in miami with structures 1 cd 2....and he still couldnt resist hernan..

just wanted to share this thought and let yall know that its good to have a place to join us...peace

I dunno if this happens to any of you guys but ... I havent gone out to party with people that listen to top 40 songs probably 5 years now...

Some of them are form work, others highschool friends ,relatives , etc. I just cannot believe how they dig clusterfuck tracks like this and call it cool... basically a blended 5 course meal shake track

awful, and mainly i feel many dont really want to put much effort into finding their music, they just take whats repeatedly being played on the radio or mentioned in magazines, i finally chose the music over the crew when it comes to gigs, i mean its good to be in a party with all my friends but when the music is shit its not fun anyways and i end up leaving rite away, so i decided to go with the music and its been much better of a choice than to go see roger sanchez and stand there with my hands in my pocket....

i was playing a set for Nuno dos santos after one of the parties in wmc, and one of my friends asked me do you listen to this stuff normally...fuk i told him this is just a morning set for me ...

dood they came to digweed vagabond and left after abt 45mins and said it was too slow, how was it slow and i was getting slammed up in there

...i guess coz they came straight from the swedishkhausfafia

^bleh...yeah that still sounds like the normal complaint that goes around with most people who really are just half ass into music. most people like shit they hear from someone else on the radio that tells them what is good instead of finding other things they like. its easy and lets you talk about common interests with other people on the street so it makes sense.

too bad it is shit if you actually want to spend some time and dig deeper.

I have a clock radio with the local commercial station on. Gets me up and out of the house in no time
