    Louche Podcast - Louche 060 - Dubbyman

José Manuel Alvarez, also known as Dubbyman is up next, delivering a deeper than deep mix to add to the Louche series. The Spaniard debuted as a DJ in '92 under the name José Vertice, spinning acid house, with tinges of funk and hip hop amongst his sets. Flash forward to now and his sound is deeper, more dubbed out house with electrofunk flavours, as attendees of Sonar Festival and the highly respected Free Rotation will testify. He and his brother Above Smoke run the label Deep Explorer, where their productions are released alongside international artists likeMike Huckaby, Rick Wade, Sascha Dive and The Lady Blacktronika. The mix is top notch, a tidy addition to the series.
