A group of Salafists (Muslim Sunnis) are getting ready to attack the Hizballah (Muslim Shiaas) in the middle of the city of Saida (the capital of the South & the 3rd largest city of Lebanon), while the Lebanese army soldiers are sitting idle on their tank watching the firefight about to take place.

Sounds bizarre.

If Hezbollah is expelled from Lebanon, what scenario would emerge with ties to Israel and the rest of the middle east?

Is Lebanon mostly a sunni country? Hezbollah is backed by Iran traditionally speaking right? Noe iran has a new "moderate" leader does this mean a weaker Hezbollah?
