A great mix this week, courtesy of Jacques Bon. In a return to our Record Store Feature (see episodes 94 & 74) we visited another vinyl emporium, Paris' Smallville Records. We're sure you'll already be familiar with Smallville, the renowned collective based in Hamburg. Well this is the little brother to the German mothership, opened in 2007 by Jacques and Henrik Weber AKA Pantha Du Prince.Jacques, who also produces and tours for the successful Smallville Label, has had a passion for music from a very young age; working in Daphonic Records before opening his current shop. Paris' underground scene has had a recent timely resurgence, and because of this, at Smallville Records Paris business is booming. Stocking the freshest shit going, Jacques is fuelling a healthy new scene of your music lovers, and we wholly respect his cause. This is remarkably his first ever podcast he has recorded. It's super tight and well selected. If he's selling these tunes in his shop you can bet there's a lot of happy vinyl heads in Paris out there! Bravo Jacques, bravo!
