Best movie you've seen in 2015?
It's more than 1/2 over, which movie have you really enjoyed this year so far?

There's been a few that come to mind - Mad Max: Fury Road was probably one of the best feminist action films I've seen in years.
Blackhat was pretty underrated and a nice return to form for Michael Mann, even if the last act fell apart.
Ex Machina was a pretty decent heady sci fi film - I really liked what Alex Garland did with the movie and the cast was very good.
There's still a few I need to see like Inside Out which I hear is great and there's a lot of good films still due out later this year.
It hasn't been too bad a movie year, even the stuff that disappointed me was still entertaining to some degree.Score so far: Owned ZoverTard 8 times - twice in one week! Twice more in same weekend.
More than six months later - he's still pissed LOL - check the last visitor - guess who the last visitor is on my profile page.

Trainwreck might be what you're looking for - Amy Schumer in a Judd Apatow movie. She's blowing up in the U.S. and I'm told it's freaking great.
Spy wasn't bad for a comedy - it was nice to see Melissa McCarthy not going super shrill/shrewish and playing a pretty normal human being for once.
There's a few other comedies that came out this year, but the better ones were not really mainstream comedies that had huge releases.Score so far: Owned ZoverTard 8 times - twice in one week! Twice more in same weekend.

Re: Best movie you've seen in 2015?
Amy Schumer's not really a comedian I enjoy and the trailer wasn't funny to me. I like more silly than slutty I guess. But if you heard it was really great, maybe I will.
my OP wasn't really about movies that came out in 2015, just any good ones anyone watched lately in 2015, could be older or from wherever.
I should have specified that.

Big, Bad Wolves is on Netflix, and was the top pick for Tarantino when he listed his best of 2014 flick. It's a mean, grisly movie, but very good.
Citizenfour I really liked too - awesome to see history unfold infront of a person that is a catalyst to the event and it being shown on camera.
Eden was really good - showing 20 years of a life of a wannabe dj, with the rise of French Touch occurring in the background. Fantastic soundtrack.Score so far: Owned ZoverTard 8 times - twice in one week! Twice more in same weekend.

Inside Out was cute. Took my daughter to see it and she loved it. It did have some depressing parts in it though, so beware if you tend to let stuff like that get you sad. The storyline revolves around the little girl losing her joy and sadness emotions, leaving fear, anger, and disgust to drive the ship for a few days.

thanks guys! Mad Max seems to be a consensus then. will try to find the others mentioned too.
Clintlove haven't seen you around these parts much, glad you're back! one of our daughters went to see Insideout last night (I wasn't invited
) and said it really made her think & laugh, she really liked it. hopefully, I'll catch it, movies seem to leave the theaters really quickly these days so I often miss the ones I want to see. At least with Netflix, you have a whole month.
